2017 TCS New York City Marathon Ham Radio Operators

A BIG THANK YOU to all our HAM Radio Volunteers!

Thank you so much for volunteering with the Ham Radio team at this year's TCS New York City Marathon.  Whether you monitored runners along the course, rode in a Sweep Bus, staffed a Medical tent in Central Park, or worked as a Net Control operator, our participation was only possible with your help and dedication.

There is always some fine-tuning to be done after an event of this size, so please take a minute to share your thoughts and experiences with us. (eventhams@gmail.com)  We plan on having an after-action meeting shortly after the first of the year, so stay tuned for that announcement as well.

Again, thank you for volunteering your time, equipment and expertise.  We truly appreciate all of you!

73 and see you next year!

About EventHams

We are a group of amateur radio operators that come together several times each year in support of major events in the Greater New York City area.

This website, along with our Facebook page and email address, eventhams@gmail.com permits us to have an increased presence on the internet and serves as a way for us to recruit operators for our events in addition to distributing event information.

Updates of Information

All Ham Radio volunteers are encouraged to check this website often for news and updates, especially in the days leading up to the event. Things tend to change rapidly. Distributing information via this website will be more efficient than individual emails to volunteers.

A Calendar of Events has been added!  Click on it above!

Do you have event-day photos of your group in action?

We'd like to add your event-day photos to the Photo Gallery on this site. Please email them to eventhams@gmail.com
