Wanted to share some MORE quick updates!!!
Registration for the Orientation Sessions has gone out!
There will be 3 Orientation Sessions available.
There are three (3)zoom orientations being offered, especially for those that have never done this event before, (this is mandatory)
The email to sign up for the Orientation Sessions that is being offered on the 3 dates has gone out, please check your inbox.
You MUST attend one of the dates if you are new to the event. Lots of information is discussed during this orientation. We will also be going over some new information that will pertain to this years event.
As in years past, there will be 3 Virtual Orientation Sessions:
The invite for these 3 Zoom sessions was sent out Oct 5th, 2025
Please only choose 1 Session to attend, as we have a high number of people this year and we want to give everyone that attends an opportunity to ask questions.
A note about additional upcoming Meetings:
Thank you to those that have taken the time to submit your credential photos.
However, I am still waiting for quite a number of people to submit their photos.
Please check your inbox to see if you have been emailed to still submit your photo.
This needs to be done IMMEDIATELY.
You will NOT be issued a credential this without the photo. This is Mandatory this year!

Due to a technical glitch on Sunday, 9/21/25 NYRR Registration has been extended to:
Registration this year will close on Thursday, September 25th, 2025 at 11:59pm
If you are a new volunteer to NYRR and to the NYC Marathon you must first create an account on nyrr.org
If you are a returning volunteer you must Reset your Password on your NYRR account first before you do anything. Once you have done that Follow the Instructions below:
Remember, as in previous years, you must use the NYRR link that is located on the "Register" tab of our website in order to access the "HAM Radio Operators" volunteer Opportunity. You will not find the listing within the NYRR website.

Wanted to share some quick updates!
Registration is still OPEN and you still have 13 days to get registered for this years 2025 NYC Marathon. Before we know it November 2nd will be here!
Registration this year will close on September 22nd, 2025
All Volunteers that are registering on the NYRR website must have moved over to the New Portal prior to completing registration.
On March 23, 2025 NYRR sent out an email with the Subject Line: "Some Exciting Changes Are Coming"
In this email, there is a link provided along with a "Temporary Code"
Once you have clicked on the link and used your login email address associated with your NYRR account, and the "Temporary Code" you will then be switched over to the new portal.
If you have any issues with doing this, or trouble completing your registration, please email us at Eventhams@gmail.com

Registration is well under way and has been for months! BUT the good news is you still have 2 months to get registered for this years 2025 NYC Marathon. Before we know it November 2nd will be here!
Registration this year will close on September 19th, 2025
There lots of things to come, and I will be posting to this page frequently. Starting this month.
There is a new way to register on the NYRR website - and that info will be coming out before the end of next week.
There will be several zoom orientations, especially for those that have never done this event before.
Please be patient as there are many moving parts. I know everyone is very excited to be a part of this great event and doing what we all love!
